My problem:
My computer crash's a lot, and I mean a lot. I had an asus motherboard but it died and I replaced everything and got a gigabyte M-board but the chip-set. My problem is now it keeps freezing or blue screen of deathing me, I don't even need to be doing anything, it just happens and at random. Sometimes I get a few days out of it, sometimes it crash's out every 5 mins. I ran a core test and 3 of them work fine, the other was hit or miss.
I would like a bios set up that would or should work for this pc, don't know if that's the problem, but hoping for MIRACLE's here. I checked the pc hardware more times then any of you could ever ask me, I even had a second, third, and 4th, and 5th, and 6th opinion. Everything's set up the way it should be, the only thing it could be is the chip-set. But as this is an older chip that's no longer selling and I have little money to replace everything. So if I can find a setup for bios or anything that might salve the problem I could use it.

OK from what I am understanding in your post you have run a test on the CPU and 3 cores passed OK but the 4th?
But have you run any MEMORY tests, bad memory (1 stick) can cause you to have all kinds of issues or if there is miss-matched memory that have different timings etc.
Have you run any harddrive tests?
If the CPU is bad most Intel CPU's have a 3year warranty
What OS and what bit (i.e windows 7 64 bit) and if so you can only use 64 bit drivers using 32 bit drivers will (1) not work or (2) blue screen.
If all hardware memory, HD, CPU etc pass and say you think the MoBo is bad that is cheap. YOu can find a board re-use all of your hardware CPU, Memory, Case etc.

OK from what I am understanding in your post you have run a test on the CPU and 3 cores passed OK but the 4th?
But have you run any memory tests, bad memory (1 stick) can cause you to have all kinds of issues or if there is miss-matched memory that have different timings etc.
Have you run any harddrive tests?
If the CPU is bad most Intel CPU's have a 3year warranty
What OS and what bit (i.e windows 7 64 bit) and if so you can only use 64 bit drivers using 32 bit drivers will (1) not work or (2) blue screen.
If all hardware memory, HD, CPU etc pass and say you think the MoBo is bad that is cheap. YOu can find a board re-use all of your hardware CPU, Memory, Case etc.
