Answer» I don't have MUCH to go on but, this is what my friend is saying he has 256 memory win xp dell computer, mother board has no video CARD, it is built in. He turns on computer and has no screen. Do you think he would need a new board ? Or can anyone suggest some thing to do to determine what could be the problem Check this monitor on another computer, or different monitor on this computer.Do the fans and hard drive SPIN when the computer is powered up? In other words, does the computer make any noise? If not, it could be the PSU. Else, it might just be the monitor. As Broni SAYS, try SWITCHING the monitor and see what happens.
