Answer» I recently purchased a Polaroid 9 inch tablet. I do have a couple of questions.
1) How to copy and paste from one site to another?
2) How to print?
3) How would I be able to save videos from youtube or dailymotion? Also what would I have to purchase so I could do that?
Now I dont know how to do these things because there were no directions telling how to do these things. Also, dumb it down for me because I'm not Computer savvy by any means.I have been working with Personal Computers for almost 39 years. So by now, I should be computer savoy. You would think. But tablets have me over a stump. It is hard to fin the information you want.
Short answer. Find out how to get third party apps onto your table. It is the apps that make a tablet easy to use. One app I like is DropBox. It is on of many cloud services that can be used to exchange data from disparate devices. I can put downloads into my DropBox and then get into it from my iPhone, my Amazon fire tablet and my RCA tablet. It would seen to be faster using a direct cable. But width cable? Each device is different. They are all black - and the connectors look almost the same. But they are not.
In My opinion, if the vendor gave you a option for a RETURN or exchange, GO back and find one you like better.
Here is a list of the most popular tablets. http://www.tabletpcreview.com/best_tablet_pc/ Notice the Apple, Asus , HP, Lenovo and Samsung are among the leaders. These top brands have forums and support groups that can help you.
One of the tablets I got was a brand not well supported. So from now on I am looking for companies that already have a support system in place. If you can not return the table, you might repackage it and give it as a gift to a youngster. That is my frank advice. You know you still have another active account on this site, yes?Is this the tablet you have? http://www.polaroid.com/products/9-inch-tablet-A900X
What you left out of your first post is what OS your tablet is running, which, provided my link above is the correct tablet, we now know is Android 5.1. Need to know what OS the tablet uses in order to answer your questions.
Here's a beginner's tutorial that may help you get started with using the Android OS: http://www.howtogeek.com/163624/welcome-to-android-a-beginners-guide-to-getting-started-with-android/. It is phone based but tablets work the same way.
For your first question about cut and paste, see the last section of the tutorial regarding touch gestures. For cut and paste you need to use what's referred to as a "long press".
Regarding printing, that isn't very clear cut. Some printer mfrs provide apps you can get from Google Play (Android app store) that allow you to print from an Android device to their printer, maybe your printer's mfr has such an app. There is another print method called Google Cloud print which will work with pretty much any printer but it is a little more involved in getting setup. https://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/
For your last question, do a search in the Play store for video downloader. I did that and got a bunch of hits.
BTW, you can ACCESS the Google Play store from your PC here: https://play.google.com/store. I find it much easier to search for apps and read about them on my PC than the small screen of a phone or tablet. Once you find an app you can click on install and it will install it on your tablet.Good legwork there Strollin'...

I vaguely remember. I lost my password which is why I have another account. I would have asked for a new password but there were a couple of questions that I had to ask.

Thank you Strollin for all your help!!The thing is how do I know how much space I have because I want to download stuff but I dont know much room I have.If you go into Settings there should be option in there for Storage which will show you how much storage you have used and how much is left.
I also like to install an app called ES File Explorer which is kind of like Windows Explorer on your PC.My total space that I have is 4.81 GB. Now, whats available is 2.48 GB. How many hours of video of youtube is that? How many articles from different sites is that? Now, if wanted to download even more stuff is there a card or something that I could get that would give me more room to download? Can you be very specific and tell me how much it would be?No...simply because we don't know what resolution the vids may be...as well with the articles... So there is no quantitive answer. What would I need to get to save some videos and/or articles? Do I need a memory card or something? No, unless you download a lot of big videos. If you have a decent connection, you can just dream the video with no need to download it.
Many tablets and smart phones have not way to store a lot of stuff. Even so, I have a number of short videos on my Amazon Fire that I can watch when I can not get a internet service.Your tablet has a micro SD card slot that you can get a 64GB card for. 64GB would allow you to carry quite a few videos on the tablet. CARRYING videos on-board means you can watch them WITHOUT an internet connection. Streaming, as Geek-9pm suggested, requires an internet connection. http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-MicroSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B007WTAJTO
If you need more storage space you can use something like this: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=1330 Thank you Geek-9 and strollin Two more questions. Strollin, the two links that you gave me. Would I be able to purchase those at a Best Buy or Target? Also, how much do these things costs?
