Answer» i recently upgraded my MB and CPU to AMD from intel and now when WINDOWS starts up it gets to the windows logo with the load bar and just resarts itself im WONDERING if it wont work because of the brand switch and if so how can i fix it. i really dont want to reinstall windows because i dont have a disk but if ther is a way without a disk i will. THANKS, NateWhat flavor of Windows is this ? ? If it is Win2k or newer you are out of LUCK without a Windows CD. The OS can't be moved from one setup to another without complications... Since you have swapped out both the board and CPU you WOULD need an XP CD to do a repair install to get Windows to boot properly.
