Answer» I uninstalled my Primary IDE Channel and also the Secondary IDE Channel. As a result, my computer will not BOOT. How do I recover from this dumb mistake? Allenb allenb... Have you tried going into add/remove hardware ..if you can GET there and reinstall them ? dl65 You did this in WINDOWS or you were playing in the BIOS?allenb....I just read that you cant get into windows.....Have you tried going into the bios........and look in integrated periphials ...and SEE if the IDE channels show as "ENABLED " or "Disabled" ....I THINK you can reset them from there . let us know dl65
