Solve : IE displays correctly..Firefox does not?

Answer»

I have about 4 web sites and they all display properly in both of the above mentioned browsers. I recently uploaded a site and it is perfect (in my EYES) . However it only displays correctly in IE, in FireFox half of the files are MISSING and misaligned.

Any idea how this happened ?

Any idea how to correct this?

Thanks,
KellyEveryone's definition of correct is different. How is the site on IE different?

FlameIt is exactly how I designed it in IE

Searching it with firefox ---> more than half of the content is missing and the pics are not alligned.
What kind of content do you have? Flash animations?

FlameNo. I will pm you a linkWow. Forget everything else I said. This is a problem. Let me see if I can find a way to fix it... Not having MUCH luck however...  :-/

FlameNice mess huh?

Oh, it's a beautiful mess. I'm at a loss with this one

Flame

Wow I didn't think that you were stumpable.

Thanks for looking  I don't work much with Firefox

FlameOne of the biggest challenges of a HTML DESIGNER is that you must make it compliant with as many browsers as possible. Without seeing the source code I don't know if you comply with W3C standards or not, but I know that for a time even MSNBC has severe alignment problems, as well as missing content in FireFox. I am tempted to say "welcome to the nightmare that is compatibility issues". In fact, I will/just did. Compatibility is a nightmare for some content. Would you be willing to PM me a link? I'll view the page in IE, Firefox, and Opera, and the source code... but I won't be able to check tonight. In GMT-8 my day is over, and I'll be heading for bed soon after I peruse the forums one more time.Is this address a secret? Is it porn? Send me the link too. I'd also be interested in seeing the link.  Cross-browser compatibility is one of my bugbears. As would I. You know who also could shine some light on this topic is admin. He had some problems getting the site to work with different browsers. I'm sure he could help...

FlameUm...Nope not porn

Should the PLATFORM read SERVER ASP instead of IE ?
