Answer»

need your help.... most of the time flash this error message on my PC screen....
whats does it mean? what do i need to do?

iexplorere.exe-Application Error

X The instruction at "ox6600acc" reference memory at "ox6600acc"
The memory COULD not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program.
First thing for you to do is be explicit in naming the possible executable. First you name it IEXPLORER.EXE then IEXPLORERE.EXE both of which can be found.

Have you Googled for the name? Are you using IE6?You've given us very little to work with.
We don't even know your OS, what you're doing when this HAPPENS, how long it's been happening, what your specs are, what protection you have, or...well, anything. All we know is that you sometimes get an error message.

Without more info, the best I can do is suggest you head over to www.memtest86.com and make a bootdisk so you can test your memory.Quote from: CBMatt on August 09, 2007, 04:36:01 AM

IEXPLORER.EXE-APPLICATION ERROR.
Run the file through an online virus scan.

Where abouts on your computer is the file located?
In English please. It's probably an infection. Here is an extract from this site.

"Windows errors related to iexplorer.exe ?
iexplorer.exe is a process belonging to the AdClicker advertising program. This process monitors your browsing habits and distributes the data back to the author's servers for analysis. This also prompts advertising popups. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system."

Another good read is here...

Removal instructions are clear, Google for iexplorer.exe

Good luckQuote from: Dusty on August 10, 2007, 09:09:06 PM

THANK YOU SO MUCH "DUSTY"...... PROBLEM SOLVED!
No problem - thanks for coming back with your result. Look forward to seeing more posts from you.

DIt could be that was all they could give you. This has happened to me as well and there was no further information to give. For me it happens randomly, not just when I do certain tasks. I have also been getting more errors that close my webpage. Its also not the same error everytime. The numbers of the "instruction" keep changing. It did seem to begin when I installed the new beta .net framework but even removing the 3.0 version didn't help. I had difficulty removing the 2.0 and thought I should just restore to a previous date. That caused issues with another program (missing features) which cleared once I undid the restore. Yes, I looked did google the specific message as well as try to find which file it might be by using the codes and then I looked it up on the internet using the message while it was present using "iexporer.exe Application error THUS finding this site. I will try your SUGGESTIONS.
