Solve : image on computer screen? |

Answer» HELLO , I have been trying to get an answer to the following problem: I search the web alot and have noticed a small horizontal line that appears out of no where on the bottom left of my screen. The only way I can get rid of it is by shutting down the computer. Is this some sort of spy ware, or some DEVICE that some one has attaced to my computer to watch me etc.Checking your system for spyware would probably be a good thing to do. Do you have any spyware removal tools installed?check your vid card for overheatingThe other thing you can try as it might be hardware related would be to remove the side panel from the machine and after grounding yourself carefully remove the vid card and re-seat it. Check to SEE if any of your fans INCLUDING the one on the vid card are clogged with dust bunnies. Do some housekeeping, re-assemble everything and re-boot and see if this solves your issues... patio. 8-)What happened PRIOR to this? How old is the machine? What video adapter? A few pertinent details are always helpful. |
