Solve : Increasing base (sound) on computer?

Answer»

My brother just told me that bought some speakers for his computer and asked me how he can increase the base volume on his computer, to utilize the full CAPACITY of the speakers....  Would he need a special sound card for increased base, or is there other options to accomplish this...

thanksAll sound setting depend on sound card abilities. Speakers will take whatever the sound card will give them. That would be bass.  What speakers has he got? Do they have subwoofer? If theres no subwoofer there wont be good bass.  If there is a sib though sometimes they have a bass knob.  Also you can turn up the lower frequinces up with an equilizer in your audio program.  What audio program are you using? There also might be an EQ in your soundcard settings.
So tell me
1.) what speakers
2.) what audio program
3.)what sound card
if you need any help just tell mebass....lol    that's what I meant

anyway, these are good questions........Let me FIND out that info. and get BACK ....ASAP

thanks

yup of course you could always buy a whole new subwoofer If you really like bass like me. Like those cars you hear sometimes.

or http://www.audiodiscounters.com/shopping/RE-AUDIO-RE12D4-p-2208.html  All should hit hard Start->Run, Sndvol32,  In "Play Control" click "Advanced".

Bass and treble sliders are present here.Windows can not find Sndvol32.do you have the 64-bit version of Vista?this is really for hotdog...

if sndvol32 does work do sndvol - Except the new version of sndvol doesn't offer "advanced".thats why i was asking...Wait is that sndvol32 a windows beta COMMAND? Cause it didnt work on vista.  Becides, I thought the sound card had to support those bass and treble things too. Cause some didnt Quote from: computeruler on February 27, 2009, 04:16:15 PM
