Hi guys. (and girls)

I have a :

p5n32-e sli plus mobo Asus
w7 X86
intel core 2
2gb DDR2 800mhz ram
nvid geforce 8800 gtx gpu

I went out and bought some more ram today. 800mhz to be compatibile with my mobo.

I added it and my computer keeps shutting down. I can log into windows, get on gamefaqs and add this message.

suggestions please? thanks.Do you have another compatible RAM module to test? You may need to DOWNLOAD Bluecreenview to get the exact error. Download and extract the zip file then run and copy/paste/save the message on notepad and post the result on your reply.Quote from: weaponx18 on August 02, 2011, 12:44:07 AM

...w7 x86...
Your version of Win7 won't recognize more than about 3GB.
Get memTest to test the RAM: http://www.memtest.org/
