Answer» I just installed windows vista into my old sony vaio desktop. Every thing is working as it sould but I lost all sound through speakers. It says (no audio device is installed) Can any 1 help?

I cant seem to find the sound card..I do know its an SiS soundcard if that helps??

It should be SIS 7012. The link contains everything you need for your model.For some reason I couldn't edit my post, so I will make a new reply to add something: Did your computer originally come with Windows Vista installed? There's no official SiS 7012 Driver for Windows Vista. And your list MENTIONS that you're running XP. However, you can try a scan with Drivermax in an attempt to find a driver for vista.
