Answer» On a DELL Precision workstation I have a Adaptec U320 SCSI HostRAID Controller. When I boot to the setup and under Boot Sequence the Onboard SATA Hard drive is not present. Under Drives in Setup SATA Drive 0 and Drive 1 are both detected and the interface is ON. Under SATA Operation in Setup RAID is configured ON. After pressing F6 to chose the SCSI Adapter in my floppy drive I am able to start to install XP PRO. After choosing to set up Windows XP now, I receive an error stating that Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed. What can I do to get a hard drive recognized so I can install Windows XP Pro? Thank you for looking.Disable the raid install OS install raid drivers rebuild raid.
