Answer» I have a ASUS mini notebook that I am trying to uprade the 16g SSD to a new, faster 32G SSD. I am having TROUBLE booting up the notebook from the drive. I installed the drive and LOADED the OS from the ASUS recovery CD but it still won't boot from the new SSD. I have (its a long, long story) done some partitioning and other operations to the new SSD. How can I tell if the new SSD is configured to ALLOW the PC to boot from it?Does it show up properly in the BIOS ? ? What partition TOOLS did you use and did you remember to set the 1st partition active ? ?
