I saw a commercial for this place about a lottery for surviving 2012.  Now, when I went to sign up, I clicked on the privacy policy.  It took me to some SONY site, which was the first thing that seemed a little strange.  Next, when I clicked submit, a picture that looked like some sort of lottery ticket came up saying you have been entered into the ihc global lottery to select representatives from around the world to participate in a classified experiment.  I sure didnt sign up to be in some experiment!  I signed up to try to win some sort of spot in some sort of fire/radiation proof place! What do you think about it?
EDIT: I did some googling and its just some sony thing to promote a movie.  SONY SHOULD BE SUED!!!!!  They put all this fake info and stuff there! *censored* ae you talking about

it doesn't matter WHO says WHAT... it's the future. it's beyond prediction.

the sad part is- there will be the same number of "tragic" natural disasters as always- heck I remember there being at least one on the news every MONTH... at least, for as long as I remember.

But anybody who reads this crap will staple it into their "OMG the sky is falling" bs reasoning to support otherwise unsubstantiated claims that predict the "future" by making equally vague suggestions that reflect basically the state of the world as it's always been, and once they have this ridiculous notion in their head they search for evidence to support it, not the other way around. So Of course when you have things like earthquakes, floods, etc in various parts of the world, people in some kind of existential quandary trying to bring purpose into their otherwise meaningless existence believe this ridiculous BS put it forth as "evidence" and you know what, this has been going on for ages.

Again. COMPLETE. AND. UTTER. BS.

People forget too quickly that this world has been through TWO wars that occured on a GLOBAL scale and millions of people were killed, a few political boundaries were changed, and we try to remember this always to prevent it happening again... but aside from the mental IMPACT it didn't change a whole lot. World Power wasn't shifted.

And these were GLOBAL wars... did I mention that? wars that involve the entire world? As in, not just the United States, which strangely enough os where most of these retarded ideas come from, which begs the question of wether the people making this crap up even understand that a "global" change involves the entire world.



Basically the prediction amounts to saying, "we will experience changes. and stuff will happen." well guess what, they rely on the interpretive powers of everybody who has a mind open and dumb enough to shovel this crap into their likely restricted intellect and so they no longer need to search for proof- the people who want to will believe and will find these otherwise everyday events (Natural disasters happen everyday) to have some kind of significant meaning in the predictions made.
