Have you tried getting the latest drivers for that network card from the manufacturer's website? Remove the old drivers first.I find the a good way of dealing with Wireless Problems is to start from the bottom and then build up.
I mean , Disable all Security on Every THING , and GET it working on standard wifi first . so turn off WEP/WPA and just have every thing run in the most SIMPLE way you can.
Then once you can connect every ONE , set up what ever security you want.
When you build a fort you cant start with TURRETS and then Worry about foundations. Always start with a Good solid simple Lump of Concrete or Granite. then add your Keep
