Answer» Bought a new iPad from Apple and will be trading-in my old one. Is this a secure thing to do? I will, of course, ERASE everything but I assume someone COULD still retrieve all of my personal data if they had the RIGHT expertise. Thanks.Once you erase it and remove it from your I cloud account which apple will require ANYWAY when you trade it in. Then your data is secure it can't be recovered.
