Answer» Hi
I was wondering if buying a 22" montior for my laptop would be worth the MONEY. I tend to game alot but i do other things aswell.
Any advice would be appreciated.I'd make sure the laptop's video chip supports the native resolution of the monitor first...I'm not sure. The MONITORS native resolution is 1680 X 1050 and I have a Nividia GeForce Go 7600 Video card. But I don't know what resolution the card supports.Do you want to use the second monitor for the gaming display? yes mostly but for some work use.Well, I'm not a gamer, so I can't really advise you on this. My guess would be a smaller monitor might a better choice. Since games are graphics-intensive applications, don't larger monitors PUT heavier workload on the graphics card, assuming you're USING a higher resolution than you would be on a smaller monitor?
But, again, I'm just rambling here. I know we have plenty of gamers in the forum. So, let's see whether someone will chime in on this discussion.
