its just a bad media player. it cant PLAY any .AVI files unless you have the Divx codec pack installed and it cant play DVD's very well, if at all. you were lucky ENOUGH to get just lines RUNNING all over the screen, i get a lovely black screen when i try to play DVD's using WMP; thats why i switched to VLC.Quote
