Just WONDER if anyone might be able to tell me whether Radeon 9100 is equivalent to GForce 4. I've got a game that requires minimum GForce 2.

The GEFORCE 4 series is far superior to it in terms of performance.

I've got a game that requires at least GeForce 2. My question is whether i need to buy GeForce2 or higher in order to be able to play the game, or i can just use the Radeon 9100 because that's what my laptop has in it.

Thank you in advanceCan't replace a vid chip in a laptop...unless you spend more than the laptop is worth.
Save your MONEY and start building a gaming desktop rig one piece at a time. This is a great learning experience.
My first build took me around 9 or 10 months because of finances but it was a rock solid 486 with 64MG of RAM and the envy of the neighborhood at the time.I would say that you should be OK as that game must be pretty old.
However, LAPTOPS are not really meant for gaming, if you WANT to game I would advise you to build a desktop.
