If anyone knows what SORT of FPS i would get on call of duty 2 with this Gpu please post here . Also what sort of power supply will i need i currently have a 500w .

Yes, that card's pretty good, it's on a par with the 8800GT.
It's just extremely expensive at PC World and not worth near that kind of money.lol

To be honest its not that much more in pc world 10 or 20 pound more maybe . Its the waiting that bothers me , i can tell this card is on its last legs because the fps is constantly dropping from 125 to 30 D: i tried all SORTS to get it to improve my gameplay , somedays it ISNT to bad it actually stays on 125 constant , but atm when i fire my gun it drops to 40 then goes back up again , any head on confrontation with a enemy i lag .

I will TAKE a trip to pc world on saturday and take a look . .

Certainly sounds like your 7800 is on the way out, but it's had a good run.
By the way, it's around £40 more at PC World, even factoring in delivery from Dabs.
