Answer» I didn't know they made a PENTIUM DUAL Core line based on Prescotts either. You'd think Intel would have KNOWN better after the Pentium D line, which had heat issues even THOUGH they were based on newer cores. Intel's budget offerings now are pretty good though IMO - from the Conroe-L Celeron 420, based on Allendale, onwards.Yes from what I've just read this cpu would still be worth getting for those on a budget
