Travel to PC Power and Cooling for info on how to select a quality PSU. I've had good luck with both OCZ brand and the high end Antec's but there are others It's a very informative sight. Thanks for the reply Patio.
IVE been looking for a power supply for a few months now , and it appears the only good PSU's can be bought online , or from a private shop , but there prices are sky high .
Its pretty annoying actually.... Definitely avoid Jeantec, I know from personal experience how bad they are. dabs.com have OCZ, Corsair and Coolermaster PSUs for under £60, good quality.I was going to say for a decent one expect to pay 50 to 60 of those symbols Calum used....that's Euro correct ? ? Or Pounds ?
We use the good old GBP - Great British POUND here in Blighty. Euros . . . you, sir, deserve a horse whipping! The very thought of it . . . [/end British accent popularised on American TV]
That's RIGHT though, £50 and up buys a decent PSU here. Or in other words, almost twice the price of yours, using that funny symbol that looks like an S with some lines through it . . .
Thanx Calum...and no offense intended.Heh, no worries, you'd have to work harder than that to offend me.I have a connection that happenly uses pc world an hasnt had any issues.
