Oh and TRY looking for ram on Newegg.com, its MUCH cheaper.go to www.crucial.com, input your model number and find out for SURE. Or go to the Compaq website. We would be just guessing otherwise.Well crucial said that PC2700 will work but why should I trust it?BUD, if you can't trust Crucial and would rather blind luck, go ahead! Some Compaq's are very particular. 'Nuff said.
