Solve : Isass.exe - Application Error?

Answer»

Everytime i turn on my computer, a window pops up and it says:

The instruction at "0x00401082" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory COULD not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

I know that this question was ASKED before, but my problem is a little bit different. If i press OK, then the window disappears and the login window doesn't appear, but if i press CANCEL, the same thing happens, and i can't login. If i just press the X in the corner to cancel it, once again, the login window doesn't appear and i'm just stuck with the mouse pointer and a blue screen. i've tried ctrl+alt+dlt, but it doesn't work. i've also restarted many, many times. What can i do if i can't even login? This is important. Does the error say Isass.exe (first letter is capital "i), or lsass.exe (first letter is lower case "L")?
First one is a trojan, the second one is a legit Windows file.i THINK it's a lower case "L" (i hope it's a lower case "L"), but could you give me both ways to deal with the problem?Let's assume, it's lower case "L".
Did you try to boot into Safe Mode?
Do you have Windows CD?i should have the Windows CD, but i have no idea what Safe Mode is. sorry When your computer starts, keep tapping F8 key, until menu appears:

Select Safe Mode. Be patient. It may take a while for Windows to load.
When done, you should see "Safe Mode" in all 4 corners of your screen.approximately how long do i have to keep tapping for the menu to pop up, and do i TAP while the Application Error window is up, or do i have to cancel it first?Turn computer off. When you push power button to turn it on, start tapping, unless the error pops up right away.keep going some one plz help me out............ Please, start your own topic, and state your problem.
