I replaced my old mouse a couple of days ago primarily because of this issue, though it seems my new mouse has the same PROBLEM so I'm WONDERING if the problem lies elsewhere.

When I hold my right mouse BUTTON down, it will occasionally act as if it isn't being held down at all, usually only for a moment. This is easily noticeable, and to me very frustrating, in World of Warcraft, where turning your character is done by holding the right mouse button and moving the mouse. Also, while a mouse button is being held, the cursor will vanish, making the problem really obvious when it reappears while the right mouse button is still held down.

This is a major issue on fights that require a lot of MOVEMENT or turning (if you know the game, Yogg-Saron is a good example).

It's not a case of me accidentally letting go of the button, as there is an audible click when it is pressed or depressed. It does seem to not happen when I hold the button harder, but that can actually be quite tiring and not really viable for gameplay, if there is a better solution.

I did try to search the forum for similar issues, but couldn't come up with any terms that were specific enough.
