Answer»
On December 3 of 2013 a man in United States was sentenced to two years in federal prison because of his participation in a denial of service attack against a commercial website. This was then a federal court in Wisconsin, United States.
Here in the United States a denial of service attack against the commercial website is considered to be a federal crime. Although others were involved in this crime, he was the only one caught and may have to spend two years in a federal penitentiary.
Of course, this was not a youngster, it was a grown man. The 38-year-old man admitted that he did participate in the attacks that occurred in 2011. He named a group that INCITED him to participate in the attack. Because he's the only one convicted, he is being charged with the losses incurred by the commercial website. Although the commercial website was down for just a short PERIOD of time, they CLAIM they incurred in very large loss in revenue because of the downtime.
Now here's my question. Why would a grown man do such a foolish stunt? Did he pprove something? Was there some kind of wrong such taht he thought he could right by bringing down the website for a short period of time? How in the world did this individual THINK this could benefit him personally in any way. He did something very foolish and reckless and got caught.

What do you think? Here is the link to the story.

I am just going to state that the stupid get caught and the smart avoid capture. Anyone can be a hacker, and the smart ones avoid capture!

Bringing age into it, of he or she should know better, is kind of pointless as for there are many people who dont act their age. Its unfortunate that the proportion of those acting their age or older is lesser, than those who act lesser than their age, and sometimes its 38 year olds who act like immature 12 year olds and are frozen in this immature state for their ENTIRE lives.
