Expansion Slots

PCI: 3 Slots
PCIe x1: 1 Slot
PCIe x16 (Graphics): 1 Slot
PCIe x8: 1 Slot

that means I can have another graphics card in right? I have one right now right now means i can put another one in? And how do I know if my Video card is SLI like how do i know that if i put the same two of the video cards that they will work together where can I check?

And also what else can I put in there with those slots in like that would make it better.

NOPE. you would need two PCIe x16 (Graphics) Slots.

They would need to have the same GPU. Say if you had a 8600 GTS installed you would need another 8600 GTS. But like I said you don't have a SLI compatible motherboard.

That depends on what you want. You can install networks cards, video CAPTURE cards, TV tuners, extra USB ports, etc, etc, etc.

A thing? What thing? If your graphics card got two monitor outputs you can connect two monitors... you shouldn't need a thing?Quote

make it better performance-wise? a sound card, other then that, nothing you can put in there will increase performance.

Deerpark pretty much summed up the rest of it. just take note Cowz that there are motherboards that have 2 PCI-E X16 slots, but are still not SLI compatible.Quote from: homer on January 21, 2008, 12:53:02 PM

Ahh good catch Homer, I forgot that part. WELL thank you guys for clearing that up... But I could add a faster processor right? also do you have any good READS about that I herd doing it is kinda hard.

Oh also what are some good network cards that will reduce "lag" in games.

And for video cards since i can only have one I mind as well save up for a 768MB DDR3 nVidia® GeForce® 8800 GTX
