Solve : Kernel-Power Event 41 error?

Answer»

Why the heck do they call that "mini-tool box" ? ?

Longest reports i've ever seen... Quote from: jason2074 on November 07, 2014, 04:58:01 PM

I would try a different BRANDED power supply at this point as the GIGABYTE PSU is not good on rail wattage outputs. The minimum requirements for your card is 450 to 500 watts 24 amps on the +12 rail voltage.
I'm gonna leave my pc and see if it restarts again after I updated those drivers, If it did, i'm get my self either COOLER master or corsair psu to replace mine..
Thanks for your help and time. Quote from: jason2074 on November 07, 2014, 04:58:01 PM

I was playing and streaming at the same time, then my screen went black for a second and my application bar ( the bar that has start button on it) changed color to blue and in few seconds after that my PC restarted .. :/ I'm really getting frustrated of not knowing what to change to fix this Quote from: oratex on November 08, 2014, 07:42:06 AM

Just a bit of advice - Coolermaster PSUs are very hit-or-miss, not something I'd ever recommend.  You are fine with Corsair (although ideally not their VS or CX lines) and XFX, Seasonic, SuperFlower and Antec are also good options.

For your system, any good quality 550w or more unit will be enough. Quote from: camerongray on November 08, 2014, 05:43:28 PM

Yeah I read some reviews and was going with Corsair, since they are the most trusted.. but is there a way I COULD make sure this problem is from my PSU? I'm gonna be so sad if i replace it and still get this problem :/Only thing you can really do is to borrow another PSU and see if it works.  Alternatively most good PSU shops will be happy to test your PC with a different PSU for a small charge. the problem is, this restart happens randomly so like they need to test it for a week or a month.. its totally random :/ , I'll see what i can doI just bought a new PSU, I'm gonna try it tomorrow and let you guys know if that fixed my error.. I HOPE that it does.. fingers crossed update: After i changed my psu, I streamed for more than an hour and recorded at same time, tried to pressure as much as before, so far its working well. I hope it stays like this. (This might be the solution to the problem) but i need time to make sure.Update: even after changing PSU, the problem did not get fixed.. I'm so frustrated and I really give up because there is no solution for this problem other than buying a new PC.. only fix.. problem solved after buying a new motherboard and cpu. (Basically a new pc), thanks for helping everyone.
