Solve : keyboard crashing comp??

ive tried to find anything i can on the situation, it seems my COMPUTER is free of any viruses, however looking in all reports my keyboard is causing the crashing, and i have no idea why. I have tried many ideas to no avail. So i decided to find a place like this and see if i can get any help.

Dell Dimension 4600C
Default System Bios
Pentium 4 Processor

for one thing, i dont think that a keyboard can crash a computer unless you go banging random buttons... for another, 256 ram is the LOWEST SUPPORTED ram for XP
