Answer» i have an ibm t42 notebook. have a keyboard prob, the fn key SEEMS to be locked(means pressed down )as i CANT type anything now except for those buttons with functions assigned to them (eg. f3,f4,spacebar,pageup button). i want to deactivate the fn key but cant, even when i went to accesibility options and the fn lock was disabled. help. sry tis is a scrappy msg as im USIN onscreen keyboardoh and after i INSTALLED some updates for mt com the keyboad seemed to b alright, but after a while the fn key was "pressed down" again. help. do u think its a physical problem or?have you popped the key off and SEEN if there was anything blocking it?nope, it still doesn't work for me...
