Answer» Hi,
I hope you are all well.
My laptop (Asus ROG G-750JX] Recently updated to Window 8.1, and now I have 4 or 5 key that are not working on my keyboard. If I use an external Usb keyboard, it works fine, but so far, the 's' key, the 'del' key, the number 0, 3,7 and 5 keys aren't working. I've been looking for an answer online, and apparently it has to do with a driver ISSUE. Can anyone help me fix this? It's EXTREMELY ANNOYING!
ThanksAre your drivers for the keyboard up to date then? The OP needs to get the drivers from the web site of manufacturer. In this case it is: http://www.asus.com/support/ The site may ask for: • the model number • product Serial Number
The issue does not mean the keyboard is bad. A new driver might be needed for WINDOWS 8.1 on that laptop. The OP will have to search and see if it is driver or firmware issue. Some MOBILE devices have had firmware troubles, possibly some ASUS devices.
It's not drivers...it's the keyboard....
