Answer» Hi Guys, This one baffled me! I switch on my PC and Log-in usind the standard Ctrl+Alt+Del and enter my password, all fine. Then the minute that Windows starts after I've logged on, and am in Windows, I no longer have the USE of my Keyboard?
Any suggestions?hold down the f8 key on boot and chose last good config....or try hitting the crtl+alt+del again after log-in.you may have a damaged/corupt driver..?Tried F8, didn't work.
Tried up-dating driver, didn't work.
It doesn't respond to Crtl+Alt+Del in WindowsIs it your pc......OK, I managed to get it working when I logged on to the actual PC instead of LOGGING on to the network. The question now is why does it work when I log on to the Local machine and it doesn't when I log onto the network?
Also, when I booted in Safe mode, it worked, but the minute I booted in safe mode with networking it didn't work again?
I illiminated the chance of it been the PC, otherwise it wouldn't have worked at all, and it did work to log on.
So I found the problem, but does anyone know why it does that?Is your computer clean?

Free online spyware scan http://www.pandasoftware.com/spyxposer/pavspy1.aspI scanned using TrendMicro online scan, and it didn't pick up any viruses?NeilP.......Is it possible this issue is with the network? Are you able to isolate the network and go online independant of the network ?
dl65 Possible, but why would the network effect 1 PC out of 40, and why would that effect the keyboard?
Also, I can then log on to the local machine, and access the network from then onwards.NeilP.... Have you tried another keyboard ..just to rule out that POSSIBILITY? When the keyboard is inactive .....is the mouse fully operational ? what's the possibility of it being a prank of some kind ?
