i have a dell inspiron 6000 and would like to know if there is a WAY to turn off the keyboard touch PAD (as i use a mouse) thanks megadreamControl Panel - Mouse - look AROUND for the option to disable the touchpadDiffrent ways.. not sure if they will work on your pc, but wirth a shot

Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mouse icon to OPEN the Mouse PROPERTIES dialog box.
Click on the Device Settings tab.
Click the Disable button. Click OK in response to the system message that displays.
