hi there, im having troubles with my insprion b120 . the cursor jumps back when i tried to type and i have retype it the want whole sentence over and im using win xp new hard drive.. i dont what to pay for another laptop from dell and all did dell tech did for me is to get webroot spy sweeper .is there any other help i can get for this? or should i look for another 499.00 computer , any one knows about this problem ? please help..also the device manager said that the keyboard is in WORKING condition.So when you are typing the cursor randomly backspaces over what you are typing?

Dell support if this laptop is STILL covered by warranty has a return program in which they can send you a box to ship the laptop to them for repair or REPLACEMENT as well.

I wouldnt buy another computer if the one you have is still covered by warranty.hello, dave .. thanks for helping me here. i also tried to talk to a dell tech represenative about the "problem" and the laptop is about 5years old there.he said that it is old and they cant fix the "problem" if i sent it back to them this morning.. i have a new keyboard put in there.also it look like you was talking about there.there is RIBBION cable from the keyboard going into a black ribbion connector there, the shinny pins are not connecting right or soem thing .. the keyboard types backwards like..i never seen anything like this jumping back to the beginning of the sentence..i have new driver keyboard there. also instead of typing an H it will come out a G letter. thats the very best i can describe here on this forum.. interesting dave tnx... also , i think that the character generator chip on the computer is bad ..is on the c.p.u ? that i dont know also ,dave..also , the keyboard and the external keyboard is okay , im using a logic tec keyboard , but i think that the ?computer has a virus in the system..and i cant figure it out ??
