Answer» My wife has Vista at work and it sees it just fine. I even got a new CORD from Kindle and it didn't work. It see it in safe mode just fine. Also there are no yellow marks of any KIND in Device Manager. I rebooted the Kindle, tried DIFFERENT ports. My usb hub that I NORMALLY use for flash drives isn't POWERED, it is attached to a usb port in the rear of the computer. I have a sempron 2200+.
