Solve : KVM Display Problems? |

Answer» I recently purchased a dual monitor KVM for my desktop and laptop. Have hooked everything up and Laptop works fine, however when I switch to the desktop, 1 screen wakes, runs the Dell BIOS screen and then goes blank. I can see the mouse pointer, but the SECOND monitor does not wake up to show the login screen. The second screen set-up is VGA to HDMI ADAPTOR RUN to HDMI port on KVM and then KVM HDMI to monitor HDMI. The VGA/HDMI adaptor is POWERED via USB. When the Desktop is run directly to the monitors, INCLUDING the VGA/HDMI adaptor is works fine. Any ideas? |
