I'm looking for a new battery for my laptop not sure if the one is draing right but at least I would then have a spare.  Its a toshiba laptop M45-S169 I GET 6 and 8 cell but i looked at mine and it said 4These batteries?

Is your question 'why do they have a DIFFERENT number of cells' or 'can you help me find the right batter for my laptop'?

Just fyi, the 8 cell battery will have a longer operating time than the 6 cell. You may have a 4 cell battery because it was default with the laptop at the time of purchase.ah so it would be better then and wont CAUSE any hardware issues.  thats GOOD  No. No hardware issues.
