Answer» having trouble copying files to a CD from my laptop. Ony able to copy a few files when I should be able to copy much more, and sometimes the CD comes out a little scratched. Looks like I need a new CD drive. Anybody know the approximate cost?Laptop optical drives range between 60 to 100+ Bucks.BUT if indeed that is the basis of the problem i suggest BUYING an external. It will be much less expensive and portable between computers. Plus with a bit of research you can find one that is very small.truenorth P.S. Multi-session? are you using packet writing software or are you trying to burn it using a image burner? Quote and sometimes the CD comes out a little scratched.After burning? Is it only discs you burn? are you sure they weren't scratched already? do discs you read come out "scratched"? |
