Answer» Hi Guys.
After reformatting and reinstalling winxp and DRIVERS the laptop I have will not recognise the pci modem and a network controller " wireless device I imagine". I have downloaded and installed the drivers for these devices but they just will not work (they are the correct drivers I did a double check) The device manager shows them as errors. The wireless did work before the format. I FEEL the format went ACCORDINGLY as I have done this many times and feel what I have done is correct. Any help would be appreciated please. Oh also I have had some error mesaages saying hardawre cannot be found.

What specifically does the device manager says the error is for each item?OK thanks got it sorted. Driver problem. ThanksI believe Quaxo was suspecting as much....
