Answer» Hi all,
Every couple of weeks or so, my laptop (see specs below) emits a brief (3-5 seconds) high-pitched screeching sound. I have not noticed any other serious problems, save for somewhat slow performance but I believe this is probably a RAM issue. My laptop is a REFURBISHED REPLACEMENT system from Dell. I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to what might be the problem here and whether it needs to be dealt with ASAP. Thanks for your input!
