I think most laptops have the same/similar CHARGERS, so anyone with a laptop should be able to loan you theirs. Hope that helps.there are different adaptors, quite a few. Take the laptop to a PUTER repair store if u "have to" they should have something to test it out, just don't let them sell u an adaptor for over 20.00 or so, get a model name/number if u can then check out prices on ebay or something 1st*How old is the laptop?thanks for answering I won't be able to get to a PC shop for some time to come. Has anyone GOT any idea if I can buy a battery charger, rather than relying on the adapter, LIKE maybe something I can slot the battery into to charge, you know? It's just that if I do have to in the end buy a new laptop all together then I'd have to take everything off the old one and put them to the new one, and I've only got 30 mins left on battery.
