Answer» I have a dell inspiron 8600 laptop that the monitor won't stay on. It started with the red hue, so I replaced the lcd inverter and the backlight. It comes on BRIGHT and goes on and off a couple of times in the first 30 seconds then just goes blank. It works fine with an external monitor and I can live with that if I have too, but I just can't figure it out. I have put 2 lcd inverters thinking that I screwed the first one up but no DICE. Any suggestions what to try next would be great! Randyi have been having a PROBLEM with a pink hue.
