Solve : Laptop LCD Monitor help?

Answer»

So I want to buy/repair my LCD Monitor,I've been having this problem for about a year or so. My Laptop Monitor has this problem where you need to put pressure on the left corner egde of the monitor with my hand or sometimes put paper inside to be able to see anything at all. I am wondering if its LCD Monitor? or LCD SCREEN blacklight inverter?

That's for sure! LIKE cell phones, laptops are disposable electronic devices, and rarely worth repairing, unless it's the hard drive.Quote from: patio on February 05, 2010, 06:06:28 PM

True but its only the Monitor I was having trouble with, nothing else. Wanted to know if anyone was familiar with laptop LCD Monitors. I have a feeling its the backlight enverter,or just the monitor.Quote from: Computer_Commando on February 05, 2010, 06:10:57 PM

Had no problems at all with this Laptop, only my Monitor is what I want to fix. I'm guessing its the backlight CONVERTER, or just the monitor. Some of those can be relatively inexpensive to replace...but others will MAKE it a judgement call.
You could get a shop estimate to DETERMINE which component has failed.Quote from: patio on February 06, 2010, 08:59:02 AM

Alright thanks. I'll post my results in a few weeks or so.
