Answer» My laptop mouse within the keyboard is running backward from side to side. When I move the mouse BUTTON left, the cursor goes right and visa versa. The up and down is fine - moving the mouse up MAKES the cursor go up - it is just the side to side that is reversed and it's driving me batty! What do I do?go into the bios setup.........it maybe setup for a left HANDED person......what make is this laptop>>>>>>
or it SOMEONE doing this>http://www.jokingaround.com/ContentPage.aspx?_TemplateID=7Also try reinstalling the drivers for the mouse, and scan for viruses...
[glb]Flame[/glb]My laptop is a Dell Latitude - not even sure what model it is yet. I paint motorcycles - www.paintedhog.com - and I just traded this somputer for painting a guys gas tank. I only got the computer by itself - nothing else yet. It worked fine for a month or more. I don't know if someone is playing a joke on me - not sure how to tell. Even if this thing is set up for a left hander - wouldn't the mouse go left when directed left? It's the little mouse button in the center of the keyboard. The touch pad works fine - I hate USING it, but it works fine and I guess I'll just get used to it if I have to - I just thought it might be a somewhat simple fix. Thank you guys for your time! JeffMost people hate those mouse pointers. You have one of the few laptops made that have both. It's a pressure sensor, never heard of one working backwards, in one axis only. On the bottom of the Dell laptop is a "Service Tag" number. Go to http://www.support.dell.com Enter the number and find all info on your laptop.
