I have a laptop and I am not using the battery as I ALWAYS has the power on all the time so the battery SIGN "FULLY charged"..Is this OK? Do I need to turn off the battery? If so, how do i do that? thanksIf (a) the battery is a Li-ion type battery and (b) the laptop will run on AC power without the battery, then run the battery down to about 40% charge, WRAP WELL in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator. This will ensure maximum battery life.HI
thank you for your reply. I will remove the battery from my laptop. I have a Toshiba laptop...how do i remove the battery ..meanwhile i will try and see if I can fnd the battery. thanks again
rCheck your manual or go to Toshiba's website and look up your specific model for battery removal.
