Hi- this site is a wonderful resource. I'm having problems with my laptop freezing. It is hit or miss (i.e. SOMETIMES it happens, sometimes it doesn't), but occasionally when I BOOT up the screen will freeze and slowly start fading into a blurred image. Sometimes the freeze can be temporarily stopped by clicking the touchpad repeatedly, but this only postpones the inevitable. I can CLARIFY if anyone needs more info. Thanks for all and any help!Try reinstalling your video card drivers... Actually... I want you to update them... Go to your video card manufacturer's website, and download the drivers for your video card... Just follow the instructions provided with the driver(s) to know what you should do...

[glb]Flame[/glb]Thanks, I will do that. Another thing to add: It is definitely related to the amount of power in the battery. My laptop works fine when the charger is plugged in and both lights are green. The freeze only happens when the battery is CHARGING and I try to boot (i.e. one light green, one light orange).So when it is charging, you have problems? It sounds like that is hardware related... CONTACT the manufacturer to see if it can be replaced...
