Solve : Laptop screen gone.. how to change setting for the VGA cable??

1.	Solve : Laptop screen gone.. how to change setting for the VGA cable??
Answer» like the title says i have a laptop and the screen is gone.. doesnt WORK. but the laptop itself works. Now, the only way i can connect it to a TV or another screen is via this cable (S Video Cable): but i need to change this on properties, settings and select the second screen... but without the laptop screen WORKING is there any other way i can do it? btw i searched and i was told about the F5 or F6 and neither work..Laptop make/model please. it's a HP.. ima see the model later i dont remember and dont have it with me right nowalmost all laptops, have a Fn key combination that will switch to the external display. they usually have a picture of TWO SCREENS over it... On mine I press Fn+F5 to switch too/from an external display.yeh i TRIED that but no luck my F5 is something like this \|[]\| the screen ochanging one is 2 [][]
