Solve : Laptop touch-pad help?

Answer»

Having major PROBLEMS adapting to a laptop. It's fine using the touch-pad, but I'll just be scrolling and it'll register a click and it's really annoying. Is there anyway I can disable the touch-pad click, not the touch-pad completely, just the touch-pad click. I have a Fujitsu-Siemens and PS/2 mouse... if that helps. Can anyone help me out? This MIGHT take a little bit of searching on your part because I've never seen it done the same way on DIFFERENT laptops.

First, you want to go to Start > Control Panel > Mouse.

This will bring up info/settings for your mouse. From there, you'll want to look for anything that mentions Tapping. This will LIKELY be found by clicking on the Hardware or Device Settings tab. If you find it, disable Tapping and OK out of the window.

If you have trouble finding it, try POSTING a screenshot of your Mouse Properties and perhaps we can use that to help assist you.http://img108.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mouse1dp2.jpg" target="_blank">http://img108.imageshack.us/img108/90/mouse1dp2.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" />[/url]

I've tried control panel, but no dice, sadly.Could we possibly get bigger pictures? Or at least one. Those are a bit too small and I can't make much out. Also, if you can, I'd like to see everything in the Control Panel folder.
