is it possible for me to upgrade my intel pentium dual-core mobile processor in my laptop for a intel centreno duo or core 2 duo processor? i seen a intel comersial on TV with robots putting in processors (which were chips on a motherboard). and im think about it to speed up my laptop.Can you give US information regarding the manufacturer and model number of your motherboard?im still looking for my motherboard SPECS but this may also help.

You might want to contact Gateway TECHNICAL Support to see if the upgrade is possible for your motherboard...it's your best bet.
