Answer» I know that as of 2002, video cards could not be REPLACED in laptops save a few. I was wondering if it was possible to do so now. To upgrade a laptop's video card, or are they still chips saughtered onto the board?Check out the main website of the laptop you have.....play safe?I have an OLDER one with a separate video card. It is replaceable, but proprietary (only same MAKE and model will FIT and function). Some solder to the motherboard (mainboard). |
